This is one of my favorite Full Moons because the Moon is inside of the Sacred Hoop.  And also, because I identify with the Wolf Clan. This time last year, a beautiful song came through: Asar Aah, about the Full Moon in alignment with Sirius, which it is when inside of the Sacred Hoop.

This is a Penumbral Eclipse, which means that it will not be seen easily, because the moon merely turns a shade darker than normal during the maximum phase.

This eclipse will not be visible from Chicago.

Wolf Moon? According to Who?

Some say it is called Wolf Moon because it is the first of the year. I find that hard to believe because Full Moons have been experienced from times long before colonization. Perhaps named Wolf Moon due to mating season of wolves in nature, I am sure this caused a great deal of howling at the Moon….

According to Indigenous Sources, however, every nation had its own name. At aianita.org, no nations call this the Wolf Moon! The Cherokee call this the Windy Month, and here in Chicago, it certainly has been cold and windy. Dunolvtanv or Cold Moon.

The next full moon will occur on February 19th, 2019 at 10:54 AM ET and will be a Full Snow Moon.

When the Moon is Full, that means that the Sun and Moon are in Opposition, or opposite signs. That is western approach. At HeruScopes, they are in Complimentary Signs! The Battle is against the Evil that lives within us, not against one another!

They call this the Full Snow Moon. If you are in Chicago, this is obvious, because it snowed so much yesterday, right in time for the Full Moon. When we say the Moon is Full, it actually appears to be full for 3 days and nights. Similar to the way the Solstices and Equinoxes last 3 days. So in this case, the moment of fullness is on Tuesday, February 19, at 9:54 am Cst, but the moon will appear to be full Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

 

The Full Snow Moon, or the Full Moon in February occurs when the Sun is In Sidereal Aquarius, and the Moon is in Sidereal Leo.  Dua Ra N KuUrKu. Dua Djehuty Sekhmet.

KuUrKu is ruled by Uranus/Heru, and so we are aligning with using our creativity for VICTORY. Actually, programming our creativity for victory. Setting our intentions for undefetible victory. When I first began the Good Rising TV Series, I had just been lectured about using spells, which are actually intentions that rhyme and have rhythm. Remind you of anything? Hekau: Chants, The Power of the Sacred Word. This gives them extra power, just like saying them with positive emotions. That is definitely one excellent way of programming our words, our creative forces for victory.

Another way that comes to mind is that of charging the water, as Aquarius is known as the Water Bearer. In particular, I am referring to the works of Dr. Emoto, who worked with the effects of words and intentions on water. Here is a short video. I first learned about Dr. Emoto in the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know”.

 

Ever since I purchased a Berkey water filter, I have been using my intentions more with the water that I drink. I have affixed labels to the glass water bottles that I now use instead of buying plastic water. I mean plastic bottled water. I charge them with crystals, and place them under the pyramid.

Victorious in what? In the battle over our lower Ego, Victory over Set, because that is the only battle there is. And this battle gets played out over and over, individually, and nationally. Once it becomes a global battle, perhaps we will unite when the time comes to fight something other than each other…..

Anyway.

The Full Moon. Talk About Opposites, I mean complimentary: The Sun, Hot Raging Fire and the Moon, Coooool and Reflective. Who does that remind you of? Sekhmet and Djehuty of course! After HetHeru was asked to come to earth to help rid the world of the people that had forgotten their divinity their origin, their purpose for being alive, etc, she took on her form as Sekhmet. She was very good at her job, and enjoyed the power so much that she became the very thing she was a sent to destroy. Ra sent Djehuty to talk some sense into her. Fortunately, the Cosmic Mind was able to remind the goddess of love and beauty of her divine origin as the Daughter of Ra, and she returned to her naturally high state of consciousness. This is what we go through almost daily, until we simply no longer need to have this experience. Until the time comes that we are able to remember our divine origin at all times, in all places, with all kinds of people, in all types of situations, both in times of prosperity and adversity. In times of desperation and in times of joy.

Ra missed his Eye and tried to convince her to come home to Egypt. He eventually had to enlist the skills of Djehuty (Thoth), and Het-Hert was lured home by a magic potion and promises of a life dedicated to music, dance, and drunken happiness. The scene in the relief above refers to the part of the story in which Het-Hert was coming back from Bugem, in Nubia.  She appears as Het-Hert/Tefnut fully in the form of a wild lioness, the form she had taken while wandering throughout the desert.  She raises up her tail while carrying the sun disk with the uraeus upon her head. Djehuty approaches her as a baboon, a form which she had trusted in her homeland. He raises his arms in henu, the praise gesture, luring her with promises of festivals and joy if she returns. Shu accompanies and is identified in other nearby texts as the “Son of Ra, who came out of Nubia, great in power, whose limb is strong.”

And so, it is with this Celestial Occurrence that we also have the great fortune of the Venus Saturn Conjunction in Sidereal Sagittarius, which began on February 18, the day before.

1. Use the Divine Intellect as the Warrior Healer, writing, thoughts, meditations that can bring about healing transformations in the personality.
2.Travel beyond limitations in loving relationships and attachments to physical reality, and
3. Programming our creativity for victory, using creativity when setting intentions for efficacy power boosts.  The ultimate victory is the viceroy over our lower nature, our lower ego, Stein Nature. Conquering Chaos for example. Facing Fear. Mending Relationships.

Along with Vesta, the hearth, burning away boundaries, illusions and limitations that do not serve us. Utilizing creative forces, allow no obstacles to stand in the way of the Goal, which is to Be Enlightened in Every Moment. Visualize the obstacle being placed into the fire, for purification of the heart and burning away/letting go of attachment to certain outcome. As the Fire burns, the resolution or solution becomes clear. This will come in very handy for the Eclipse, more on that soon…

Lately, have been enjoying coming up with Strategies for when the Ego, or Set shows up. For Instance, there is the Spiritual Amnesias Kit, for when I forget my Divinity. Then there is the Interesting Personality Strategy (IPS) to remember the correct response and action to take when confronted with this type of energy. The Amun Consciousness Technique: to remember to be an Observer, and to watch the situation play itself out, rather than react emotionally. Creative Hacks: chants, meditations, yoga postures, breathing exercises, sound healing, energy work, even crystals, flower essences/essential oils, herbal teas etc. Ways to respond when triggered. Ways to remind myself that I am NOT my aryu (karma) some of this stuff is from past life experiences, or even ancestral energies, that are being resolved in/through/by way of this lifetime. (Yes, will be putting together a guidebook very soon.)

Victory in facing our deep seated feelings, and allowing ourselves to respond and be healed instead of an  emotional volcano… Winning the battle over the lower Nature, Setian energy. Victory is won when the Ego is activated to be in Service to Higher Self. Ruling over Emotions is a Great Victory. Our feelings and thoughts are closely related, and we must learn how to control thoughts and emotions. We cannot control our feelings, but we can control what we think about them, and how to respond or react, in other words, our emotions. 

Just remember that the heart is made with more neurological cells than the brain, that the Mind truly lives in the heart. Also remember that we have a local mind that resides in, and manages our bodily functions (brain, heart, even the gut has brain cells). However, there is an even greater mind that is projecting our lives at this very moment, that we reside inside of our True Mind, and that the Cosmic Mind (Djehuty) houses ALL of our individual minds. I like to think of those nesting dolls, with our limited mind inside of our individualized mind, then that resides inside of the Cosmic Mind, along with all other individual minds. ONE MIND. ONE HEART. ONE LOVE. 

At the moment, Uranus is moving into Sidereal Aries, after having gone direct earlier thus month. Look for breakthroughs in leadership abilities.

Looking at this image, I see something different than the Egyptologists that commented on this….I see Djehuty of course, I see the Sun, Ra, I see Khepera, the Scarab, and the object on top? The author said it was the morning star, Jupiter, but with the star drawn in the center, makes me feel that it is Sirius/Sothis/Po Tolo/Aset/Sopdu/Dog Star  as in Wolf-like, etc…. anyway, I asked for a connection between Djehuty and Khepera, let’s investigate.

Adding the Eclipse to the mix, Intensifies this moment of powerful change and transformation, Things that lay dormant in the Shadow of one’s personality are brought out into the light, for all to be revealed. We all know that family is great for this process: Cancer Rules family and Relationships in general. Especially those that we work with closely. Like raw, rough stones being jostled about in a rock tumbler, until we are all polished, smooth and shiny beautiful gems. The Eclipse also heightens the opportunities for letting go of people, relationships, jobs, responsibilities, obligations, bad habits especially! 

My issue is not always about eliminating boundaries, it is about burning away whatever keeps me from honoring boundaries I put in place! So seeking guidance with this during this eclipse…

Shine some light on this shadowy side of me that does not respect boundaries I set for my Self. This will affect the way that others also tend to disregard boundaries that I have established. 

Currently working with keeping a schedule for my self that prioritizes time for yoga, meditation, studying, music and fresh juice. 100 days of the things that I want to do on a daily basis, yet somehow gets overlooked, postponed, or neglected or worse, like Not at all. Burning away whatever is keeping me from maintaining this schedule beyond the 100 days. Today is Day 18.

The Healing Power that comes with Expansion of the Heart. (This Reminds me of that song “Total Eclipse of the Heart” for some reason….) Ophuchus represents the Wounded healer. The Eclipse Energy highlights old wounds, that we THOUGHT were healed, but one tiny trigger releases decades of pain, maybe even lifetimes. This is when the Amun Consciousness Strategy comes into play, and we are able to expand our consciousness to the point hewer we are unaffected, and able moo just calm observe what comes next. Even if it means just quietly observing feelings that arise. Be open to the healing, by turning up the compassion and forgiveness. This afternoon, Thursday July 27, the Ripening Full Moon TOTAL Lunar Eclipse will last from 3:30 p.m. to 5:13 p.m. EDT. Park is at 4:21 p.m. Here in North America, it will not be visible. This map from space.com illustrates visibility areas.Even if you cannot see the eclipse, you will feel the effects. With 7 planets in retrograde, what exactly does this mean here at HeruScopes.com? The most important thing to remember is that YOU are the Hero of the Myth of Your Life. In every situation, see yourself as the Victor over the Lower Ego, over Ignorance and Unrighteousness, especially when coming from a place deep within. Even better, see an outcome where EVERYONE wins. This might be common knowledge to you, but for some folks, this is a huge challenge  . Sun in Sidereal Cancer and Ripening Full Moon in Sidereal Capricorn. Many Native Cultures refer to this Full Moon as Ripening Moon, even Ripening Corn Moon. So many that was decided that we could not choose only one. Other sources, like the Farmer’s Almanac, call this the Buck Moon, but that has too many negative connotations for HeruScopes…

Utilize Creativity to bring about Transformation. Or, is that Transformation (Khepera) is the Power of Creation: by lifting up the Sun each day, Khepera makes the Day possible. In fact, Khepera IS the New Day! I am watching the sunrise now, such a magical time of day.. Musically, the greatest songs come through when we desire change and transformation. This is also the key ingredient in manifesting: the purified desire for change. During this time, let us examine this powerful combination of Transformative Creativity.

This is reminding me of that saying from the Lotus Sutra, about turning Poison into Medicine. or the Kemetic Proverb: Adversity is Prosperity and Prosperity id Adversity. How about this Affluence Classic: There is a Gift in Every Adversity. These all involve the process of utilizing creativity to bring about transformation: we change out perception of the world, and the world changes.

One example of this is the power of sound. When we change sacred words, sounds, frequencies, syllables, we can bring about transformation by invoking changes in frequency and energies. DUA RA KHEPERA!!!

Djehuty Hupeneius: Using communications and technology to breakdown false limitations and eliminate limiting beliefs. Whatever is in the way, IS The Way. Djehuty represents the Cosmic Mind, and we must remember to allow the Cosmic Mind to express and manifest not our limited fettered mind. The Mind is not inside the Body: THE BODY IS WITHIN THE MIND. All that we see and experience is a projection of the Cosmic Mind. Are you living in alignment, or is your ego mind running the show? This will explain any types of blocks, illness, frustrations etc. Because with the light of Cosmic Mind, the Royal Personality sees through the delusion and there is no longer any kind of limitation. The Eclipse shines a light on the Path.

Total Lunar Eclipse: the longest eclipse of this century. During this time, 7 portals are opened, or this phenomeon is also called Retrograde: Rx remember, is no cause for alarm, it is time for celestial medicine, the cosmic prescription. When we are in alignment, no antidote is needed. When we are out of alignment, HeruScopes provides knowledge and wisdom that serves as the antidote! haha.

Looking at the chart, the 7 portal openings are: Djehuty, Vesta, RePhan, Asar, Set, NebtHet and Chiron. (Mercury, Vesta, Saturn, Pluto, Mars, Neptune, and Chiron). WOW! If you are not experiencing huge breakthroughs and shifts, then you must be dead. Or, you are in tremendous pain because you are unable to let go.

The Node, I don’t usually work with this, but this brings the count to 8 portal openings. This is not a time to be dreaded, but to dive right in and embrace everything that is coming up for you, everything that is becoming true for you. The Truth, the True Path is being revealed, uncovered, as you are reading this report. If you cannot see this, then you are bold to truth because you are too attached to the deception. In the extensive Retrograde and Solar Eclipse Mercury Rx reports, I go into a few revelations, including the one about having light switches for everything, like happiness, joy, abundance. Sadness, grief, anger. These are all frequencies, and we can turn them on and off at will. We have choices. Eclipse usually brings things deep in the subconscious to the surface to be faced and released. We can turn on the switch that allows us to process things like emotions and negative self talk, or we can turn off that switch, and turn on the switch of denial. Retrogrades often seem like things are headed in wrong or opposite direction, when in fact, it is leading you to something wonderful. When we trust and listen to our divine intuition, we will never go wrong or be led astray.

Mercury is now in Sidereal Leo: Dua Djehuty Sekhmet. Of course, this takes us to the Myth of Hetheru and Djehuty, the time when she forgot her Divinity. Her task was to eliminate the unrighteous on earth, but began to enjoy, then abuse her power, and began destroying even the innocent. Djehuty, the Cosmic Mind, was sent to bring her back o her higher state of consciousness. He shared a few parables with her, and she was able to return to her natural state of Divinity. The Portal Of Djehuty will be open until August 19. So, yes, we have the power to destroy with our words and our thoughts, however, when we can remember that we are here to express the Cosmic Mind, not our body-mind limitations, we can be Heru in the myth of our life. The Full Moon and Mercury are both represented by Djehuty. Take a moment to reflect on what a grand opening and blossoming is taking place during the eclipse and portal opening associated with this Cosmic Force.

Another Celestial Event: The start of the Kemetic New Year and Sirius Rising. According twosome traditions, this observance begins on July 13, with the Birth of Ra, and continues on through the Birth of the Children of Nut by Geb until we reach July 19 and the Rising of Sirius, July 20 The Kemetic New Year, which once coincided with the flooding of the Nile River. Ra Maat: According to NASA, The Sun is in Maat (Sidereal LIbra) until November 23, when it moves into Ip (Scorpio) for 7 days, then into Imhotep (Ophiuchus)  on November 30. Will stay there until right before the Winter Solstice…where did you think the Scales for the symbol LIbra came from anyway??????

 

 

Maat begins on October 31, when the Portal between the two realms is opened. The Veil between the world of the Living and the world of the Dead, the Netherworld  is thinnest, This doorway remains open from Middle of Fall to the Middle of Winter, beginning of February, Candlemas, and also around the time of the Chinese New Year. Now is the Time to Reconnect, or Connect with the Ancestors.

 

 

Did you notice a shift in the energy? More harmony, and balance? Perhaps this was from closing doors, establishing boundaries, ending relationships, getting rid of old tis that have not worked in years? Clearing out the weeds from your garden? A time for putting things in Order, after that extra long month of Aspolia, (Sidereal Virgo) a time of planting seeds and purification.

When Ra is in Maat, we can anticipate a period of Truth Illumination. As in the title of the movie, “Everything is Illuminated”. What was once kept hidden or in the dark will be brought into the Light of Maat. When Creation began, the first act by Ra was to establish Maat as the Foundation. • November 6 – Full Moon. The Moon will be directly opposite the Earth from the Sun and will be fully illuminated as seen from Earth. This phase occurs at 22:23 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Beaver Moon because this was the time of year to set the beaver traps before the swamps and rivers froze. It has also been known as the Frosty Moon and the Hunter’s Moon.
• November 17, 18 – Leonids Meteor Shower.Everything you need to know about the Sekhmet (Leonids) Meteor Shower

October 4, 2014 is the beginning of the last opening of the Portal Of Djehuty (Mercury Retrograde) of 2014! Give Thanks!, right? Well of course! However, why see this as a scary phase? It is an opportunity to expand any limitations on technology and communications. It is a time, to shut it down, turn it off, unplug for real for a change. Let it break down, it needed to be replaced anyway! Or, else, just do without. The main thing is to cut down on stress and fear. Lately it seems like any little glitch in technology, or any unpleasantries in relationships and communications, it gets blamed on Mercury Retrograde. Mercury is the planet in our cosmos that governs our mental process, our intellect, our communication, our ability to give and process information on multi platforms. Mercury also rules the transportation system and technology.

 

With that said, Mercury is a very busy planet!  When it goes retrograde for many of us who are born with this planet moving in a ” forward” path,  we are left with a feeling at a loss, confused and flustered with the mishaps that this retrograde period can bring. For those who are born with their Mercury retrograde, this can be a period of deeper understanding, better communicative skills and a feeling of things unfolding in a way that is advantageous to them. That is not to say that those born with Mercury retrograde can not function when Mercury goes direct, it just means that they may have to work harder at getting things to flow so that they are understood, and not misunderstood.

Illusions like Mercury Retrograde, Corporations, the Matrix. corrupt religious institutions, etc. Most people are ignorant of this fact. When in the Portal Of Djehuty, you can experience “a period of deeper understanding, better communicative skills and a feeling of things unfolding in a way that is advantageous to…” ALL OF US, EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US.

Djehuty Portal opening in Aspolia: Sidereal Virgo: time to plant seeds for new ways of communication, HARMONIOUS communications, this is an opening to say what could not be said before. Now is the time to prepare for the month of MAAT, which will arrive here when Aspoia is complete. Now is the time to plant seeds for peaceful relationships. Pi Cheus (Jupiter) is also moving from Khepera (Cancer) to Sekhmet (Leo) on October 14. This signifies a shift  from the Wisdom of Family Transformations to the Wisdom of Healing. As this occurs during the Portal of Djehuty,  this represents the Wisdom of Power of Communication in Healing. I know that I for one will be spending plenty of moments within the Medicine Wheel:

• October 7 – Heru (Uranus) at Opposition. The blue-green planet will be at its closest approach to Geb (Earth) and its face will be fully illuminated by the Ra (Sun). This is the best time to view Heru. Due to its distance, it will only appear as a tiny blue-green dot in all but the most powerful telescopes. Om Geb Ra Heru. Nuk Pu Heru (I am Heru) Close to Geb/Earth and fully illuminated by Ra/Sun sounds great to me! Grounding and illumination? Count me in! ESPECIALLY during a time  when communication can be strange. Remain grounded, no matter what, trust intution, and listen for divine communication from within, no ned for technology.
• October 8 – Full Moon. The Moon will be directly opposite the Earth from the Sun and will be fully illuminated as seen from Earth. This phase occurs at 10:51 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Hunters Moon because at this time of year the leaves are falling and the game is fat and ready to hunt. This moon has also been known as the Travel Moon and the Blood Moon.Ra is in Aspolia, and so, Sesheta/Djehuty is in Pi Cot Sahu/Asar (Pisces). Hunter’s Moon? That of course would be Sahu/ Asar/ Orion! Also in the HeruScopes © system, the Moon, is associated with Sesheta when New, and Djehuty when Full…
• October 8 – Total Lunar Eclipse. A total lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes completely through the Earth’s dark shadow, or umbra. During this type of eclipse, the Moon will gradually get darker and then take on a rusty or blood red color. The eclipse will be visible throughout most of North America, South America, eastern Asia, and Australia. • October 8, 9 – Draconids Meteor Shower. The Draconids is a minor meteor shower producing only about 10 meteors per hour. It is produced by dust grains left behind by comet 21P Giacobini-Zinner, which was first discovered in 1900. The shower runs annually from October 6-10 and peaks this year on the the night of the 8th and morning of the 9th. Unfortunately the glare from the full moon this year will block out all but the brightest meteors. If you are extremely patient, you may be able to catch a few good ones. Best viewing will be just after midnight from a dark location far away from city lights. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Draco, but can appear anywhere in the sky.Best to wait for the Sahu/Asarian Meteor Shower….also from astronomy.com:
• Thursday, October 9 “Mars appears low in the southwest as darkness falls this week. The Red Planet shines at magnitude 0.8 among the background stars of southern Ophiuchus, though the brightest star nearby is ruddy Antares, which lies about 10° to Mars’ lower right. A telescope shows the planet’s 6″-diameter disk but won’t reveal much, if any, detail.” 

Imhotep (Ophiuchus) is symbolized by a man wrestling with a snake while stamping on back of a Scorpion.  This signifies Humanity conquering lower nature: SET (Mars) !!!

• from space.com:Oct. 19: Near Collision of a Comet with Mars All eyes will be on the Red Planet in October as Comet C/2013 A1(Siding Spring), discovered by Robert H. McNaught at Australia’s Siding Spring Observatory, will pass extremely close to Mars. The comet will come so close, in fact, that its coma may envelop Mars, as well as create a stupendous shower of meteors as seen from the Martian surface.Related: NASA Sees Comet That Will Buzz Mars this Year (Photo) Set and Siding Spring near collision producing possible meteor shower off surface of Muloc (Mars). A Typhonic situation, Typhon being another ancient name for the planet Mars.

• October 22, 23 – Orionids Meteor Shower. The Orionids is an average shower producing up to 20 meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by dust grains left behind by comet Halley, which has been known and observed since ancient times. The shower runs annually from October 2 to November 7. It peaks this year on the night of October 21 and the morning of October 22. This will be an excellent year for the Orionids because there will be no moon to interfere with the show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Orion, but can appear anywhere in the sky.

• October 23 – Partial Solar Eclipse. A partial solar eclipse occurs when the Moon covers only a part of the Sun, sometimes resembling a bite taken out of a cookie. A partial solar eclipse can only be safely observed with a special solar filter or by looking at the Sun’s reflection. Blood Red Full Moon: April 15, 2014

Sidereally, we are just about to enter into the month of Aries! on April 18. Perhaps this is another reason why this is known as the Blood Red Full Moon…Red with the Fiery Energy of Mars!

Someone asked me about a ritual to do for this event, which is also a full lunar eclipse that can be seen in North America.!
