First allow me to my express gratitude for these HeruScopes and Good Rising TV reports. And for those of you that actually follow them. They really are all about self care and global healing. I am so very grateful for the wisdom, music, and healing that comes through. Although it is very time consuming due to low wifi, this work is so worth it Especially when I reflect on the unfolding of events that occurred last week. These reports also show how the energies are played out in our reality. Last week, with Mercury Retrograde in Ophiuchus, and even before that when the Moon lined up with Sirius and Orion, I knew that something truly magical was about to happen. I was in fact preparing myself to “go to battle” with a former partner involving the festival called Reggae Wellness. I was literally giving my self a tune-up, to prepare to speak out and stand in my truth. I had no idea how far and wide my voice would travel back then.

I know that some people cannot take me seriously because of all the ancestral and celestial resources and references. This goes against their own beliefs and spiritual practices. But what does that have to do with rape?

The news broke on the last day of Mercury Retrograde. The TV News videos were taped December 6, the first night of the New Moon. Also would have been 32nd wedding anniversary for the marriage that was affected by the rape. At the moment of the preparation of this report, The Sun and Moon are In Ophiuchus, and Mercury is Direct in Libra.

This very long report will serve as a reminder and testimonial to us all about the healing power of the sacred word when aligned with the Cosmos. The chants that cane thru were very helpful in moving through all of these communications and revelations. I am humbled by and in awe of the synchronicity.

People ask why did I take so long? It took so long because my throat chakra ( in Kemet, known as Aritu or Sefech Ba Ra) had been closed down due to all of the trauma. The creativity chakra and throat chakra are connected. When we are traumatized, we are in effect, silenced. Sometimes it takes decades to heal the womb chakra and so it takes that long to speak. Every single body, every single light being trapped in a watery encasement, vibrates at different frequencies, so recovery times cannot, should not, must not be compared, only observed. But when judgement is projected, the healing environment is no longer safe. Once I had done a significant amount of clearing energy blocks in both my womb and throat chakra, in alignment with the cosmos, the healing process reached a climax and resulted in a breakthrough. Rape and assault also affect the Root Chakra, which is what connects us to the Earth, it is the Grounding Force. When imbalanced, this affects our sense of stability, security and financial freedom. When this chakra is brought into alignment, abundance, prosperity and bountifulness can at last be experienced.

How did I find the courage? It was either my life or his. I was ready to kill myself and so obviously, I chose to live, and stop protecting my rapist and all of his fans. To be an authentic healer, I had to be able to discuss my own trauma with transparency. Up until recently, I still carried the fear of what would happen if he found out that I had told anyone. So I just decided to speak instead of remaining silent. To live instead of dying slowly day by day.

In addition to all the yoga, prayers, meditation, energy dancing to eliminate blockages and toxins, hours of Ho’oponopono (Ancient Indigenous Hawaiian Spiritual Technology of Forgiveness), Therapy, gallons of Chamomile Tea ( Calming and Soothing) and Red Raspberry Leaf Tea ( for Womb Wellness) writing in my journal, the Trip of 2014 ( visited scene of crime, put on an event to draw attention to the issue of sexual assault on college campuses, visiting a shelter, visiting the Astronomy Department, swimming in the healing waters of the Hill Country around Austin, Tx, and filing the police report), ten day fast. ( which was supposed to be 40 days, and was actually a cover-up for attempted suicide…), training for and participating in a half marathon race, traveling to sacred sites as on a pilgrimage seeking enlightenment and healing not just as a tourist, “Sacred Woman” work with Queen Afua, decades of therapy, practicing Japanese Buddhism for 20 years, recording and performing Reggae and World Music Artist for over 30 years, what has brought the MOST transformative healing to my life has been Music ( naturally!), Sound Healing and Egyptian Yoga: studying the Teachings of Shetaut Neter and working with Dr. Muata Ashby and Dr. Karen Dja Ashby. In fact, it has been the super powerful combination of all three in these Good Rising TV episodes that has really created an opening for me to climb out of the tower of emotions and cave of darkness that has silenced me for years. Decades. These practices have allowed me to let go of attachments, let go of judgement, let go of the illusions of the material world. Let go of anger and frustration. Let go of the pain. Let go of fear. Let go of people that I no longer need to know. Enabled me to stand in my truth without crying, without fear. In fact I am learning how to use fear as a weapon to pierce through the veil of illusion and be victorious. I now look for the Gift in Every Adversity, am learning how to Turn Poison Into Medicine. And have finally stopped seeking justice in a world of corruption.

As for the rape case with Mr. Tyson, at this New Moon, there is a New Attitude. I have let go of physical pain, (2005-2010). I have faced my fear of him finding out that I knew it was a rape. I am now free to discuss my healing journey with others, free to explain why I dropped out of grad school because it is now public record. I first spoke my truth publicly in 2010, then again in 2014. Finding my voice, my power. This empowered me to let go of emotional pain. I achieved my goal of finding others that experienced his brutality and wickedness in 2018.

The next phase of this process will be healing from the loss: loss of career(s): my Astronomy career was ended like a miscarriage, and because my Reggae Music Career ended with my marriage. I once tried to keep it going, but whatever was, is over and now something else must take its place. Loss of income, loss of my marriage, loss of relationship with oldest daughter, the loss of my Mother also in 2010. in fact all relationships have been affected because of the loss of trust in humanity. Especially men. I now have trust in My Self and in the Divine that exists within all of us, all life. But as far as individuals go, those days are long gone. At any moment, someone can come out of a bag on you and cause destruction. Can lie, steal. Yes they can love, but hopefully, that doesn’t hurt! Lol! I have learned to stop trusting people and rather be prepared for them to betray, deny, cheat, rob, or violate. No one in human form is free from suspicion. I have also learned to stop seeking justice in a world of corruption. And, I no longer accept things from men that I did not ask for: every time that I do, it ends in disaster.

From now on, preparing myself to respond to any situation while Being Enlightened. Striving to live as A Truly Peaceful Warrior. No longer seeking friends or any type of relationships unless they can help me achieve this goal. Otherwise, it is a distraction, put in place to keep me stuck in a material world of delusion ignorance violence and depravity.

The journey home from yet another fabulous Shetaut Neter Temple of Aset Temple of Heru WINTER SOLSTICE CONFERENCE, RETREAT AND FESTIVAL, was almost as powerful as the retreat itself. In fact, the experience is ongoing…….

Wanted to take a moment to share some of the profound healing and reflections that have recently illuminated my life. These are thoughts and realizations that are allowing me to move forward faster than ever.

1. I was deeply moved by the hekau Nuk Pu Nuk Asar Asar: I am That I am Asar, Asar. The Teachings tell us to see ourselves as Asar, and to identify with his experiences and transformation. I began to see, and to feel, how each one of us is in fact Asar, that each one of us has been “cut up into pieces” by our relatives, society, oppression, etc. And that it is the loving wisdom and compassion of the Divine Mother that heals and puts us back together makes us whole,. In this instant, I was able to feel forgiveness and compassion for myself, and for all those that were involved in my encounters with violation of any kind.

 

 

 

Violence and unrighteousness occur where there is ignorance of the Divine. Cannot blame someone for being ignorant because society is designed to perpetuate ignorance. However, it behooves us to speak out against ignorance, unrighteousness, violence, assault, abuse, etc, and to stand up and seek Justice. This is Living For Maat.

 

2. Next I realized that when I feel doubt, fear, guilt, shame, etc. that is my Ego, that is Set. That anytime I believe that it is my own actions, thoughts, desires etc that alone cause a situation or person’s negativity into my space, that is my ego. Sometimes, I am being used by the Divine as a mirror. Sometimes, I am just in a place to serve as a witness. But no longer do I have to accept that I am “attracting things” just because I am shining light on certain issues. For instance, when people say the reason for the assault in August is because I started speaking out against rape in June, in honor of Tchiya Amet Day. Or because I finally spoke publicly about being raped by Neil deGrasse Tyson when I was a grad student at UT Austin in the 80’s.This is ludicrous!!! What I learned is that darkness is attracted to light, but that is no reason for light to stop shining. That is all the more reason to shine even more brightly! For awhile, I was trying to hide my light, to hide my truth. To hide from my Truth. But no more, thanks to a creep and a man that did nothing in August 2014, the end of my Chiron Return, I am determined to shine even more brightly than ever, to continue to speak up and sing out. Committed to End the Silence, End the Violence.

 

3. The third and probably most crucial realization follows:

Every single instance of trauma that I experienced happened at a time, place, or situation or relationship where I had received a “red flag” or intuitional hit that I should not be there, or not a good thing for me, but I ignored the message. Either I loved the person, place, thing, institution, message, ideal or potential, and was determined that I could endure no matter what.

So, my intuition says, “Warning! Danger! Exit Stage Left Immediately!!” and I say things like,”Oh, it will be over soon. I don’t want to inconvenience them”, or “Well, they came all this way. It will be alright just this once”, “He will change and I can help”. “It’s not exactly what I am looking for, but she seems nice “, etc. The Universe does the only thing it can do, and I unconsciously help, because I KNOW it is not right for me: CREATE TRAUMA SO THAT IT WILL END, I HAVE TO END IT, OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT.  Yes, each and every trauma that I have encountered is because of something like this.  Ignoring My Divine Intelligence, My Inner Guidance, My Intuition. I forget My Self and listen to Set, the toxic ego.

Now, for the years that I was ignorant of the Divine, of my Higher Self, of my intuition, I must forgive myself 1000%. For the times that Set was in control. and I foolishly believed that I knew better than the Most High, I must also forgive myself. As well as the individuals that were involved.

It is NOT about eliminating the Ego, or controlling Set, etc. It IS about PURIFYING the Ego, purification of Set, SUBLIMATING the Ego, so that the Ego serves you, rather than you serving the Ego,

 

The Correct Maatian Action for me to take is to continue to speak out and to help others to do the same, thereby seeking, and seeing, Justice in my own life, allowing me to see Justice in the World. This is my true desire: To see and experience Maat restored Upon the Earth in this lifetime.

When my daughters were young, we kept the Sabbath, we did major Spring Cleaning every year to be ready in time for Passover, the Full Moon after the Spring Equinox. When they moved away, I was unable to keep it up alone, especially the thorough spring cleaning in one month. So I stopped. After keeping this tradition for over 20 years, and then stopping for 10 years, I have decided to start again. There has been so much negative vibes that came in and out of my life in the years that I was NOT doing this! It is incredible to look back and reflect on what transpired during the ten years my family has been “cut into pieces”: 2005 is the year my oldest daughter, Monoah moved out, then Lluvia and I moved to Berkeley shortly after that. The rest will have to wait for the full length movie.

 

The most important thing is that I have decided to start again. And as you know, with HeruScopes, all the signs are off by about one month anyway, and it sure feels like the seasons are shifting, or that the magnetic poles have flipped. Therefore, instead of trying to get the entire house clean in one month, I begin with Sirius Culmination, January 1, and will see how far I can get, by myself, by the Full Moon after Spring Equinox. I began with this cabinet, taking out all of the dishes, washing the cabinet, washing all the dishes, then putting back the ones I am keeping. This will soon spread to every cabinet, every closet, every drawer, every wall, window and ceiling, every garden, until the entire house and the yards are cleansed and protected for another year.  I use lavender water, rose water, sage, sea salt, incense, sound like drums and sistrum. Again, it is about restoring order, setting boundaries, and maintaining them, paying attention to red flags, and leaving Set out of it, unless ready to serve the Divine.

The Story of how my spiritual practice, journey and culture have evolved from Rasta, to Hebrew Israelite, to Black Native, and presently to Kemetic (Cosmic) Sound Healer, Yogini and Priestess is yet another chapter, and we will get to that shortly….in the meantime,

Ra Maat: According to NASA, The Sun is in Maat (Sidereal LIbra) until November 23, when it moves into Ip (Scorpio) for 7 days, then into Imhotep (Ophiuchus)  on November 30. Will stay there until right before the Winter Solstice…where did you think the Scales for the symbol LIbra came from anyway??????

 

 

Maat begins on October 31, when the Portal between the two realms is opened. The Veil between the world of the Living and the world of the Dead, the Netherworld  is thinnest, This doorway remains open from Middle of Fall to the Middle of Winter, beginning of February, Candlemas, and also around the time of the Chinese New Year. Now is the Time to Reconnect, or Connect with the Ancestors.

 

 

Did you notice a shift in the energy? More harmony, and balance? Perhaps this was from closing doors, establishing boundaries, ending relationships, getting rid of old tis that have not worked in years? Clearing out the weeds from your garden? A time for putting things in Order, after that extra long month of Aspolia, (Sidereal Virgo) a time of planting seeds and purification.

When Ra is in Maat, we can anticipate a period of Truth Illumination. As in the title of the movie, “Everything is Illuminated”. What was once kept hidden or in the dark will be brought into the Light of Maat. When Creation began, the first act by Ra was to establish Maat as the Foundation. It is as if the World begins anew.

During this cosmic cycle known as the Full Moon of Ra Maat :Sesheta Tamet Ammon, let us all consider how we can assist with the Illumination via Maat, the Restoration of Maat, Elimination of Ignorance and Unrighteousness, and the Reflection of Witnessing Consciousness, which is Ammon. When Sesheta is in Tamet Ammon, this is an activation of the cosmic forces of the personality as a leader, a builder, an architect or engineer of one’s  personal empire. The seeds have been planted during the time of Aspolia, now the designs, the plans are laid out for the coming year or phase of life. The dynamics of this Full Moon involve the sidereal Aries Moon and Sun in Libra. The celebration and tension around this event may involve your core relationships and your desire to express your true nature with more honesty than ever before.  Since the Moon squares Juno in Cancer, confrontations and constructive dialogue might occur with a family member.  The Moon also forms a supportive trine to the building Mars/Pluto conjunction (exact next Monday) in Sagittarius. The ferocity and passion of this alignment is great, and hopefully you can channel this energy in positive utterly honest ways. No need to hide. Keep in mind the dynamics of yesterday’s Full Moon is still in full swing (re-read yesterday’s post). But today carries the severity of the Moon opposing Saturn. This aspect can create a mini-depression out of the blue. It is fleeting, but still demands your attention. When you go down, allow yourself to go down. Take a nap, pick up your journal and download, call a friend and download your depth.  Explore it, be present, and soon the sunshine will return, and you will be wiser and more interesting for having taken the journey.

I know I keep harping on the truth telling theme, but it’s in the celestial Field, and will only get stronger next week.  If you practice blurting now, perhaps you won’t utterly explode on someone next week!  Today’s Juno in Cancer ~ marriage partners/family commitments ~ is in an awkward quincunx to Pluto. So speak up, and it may feel awkward and clumsy. But that’s totally okay and actually lovable. How ’bout you view life and relationship as an exploration, not a certainty?  How about you release the need to know? With that one switch in belief, you will do just fine, all will be well, and all your relationships will be much more harmonious.

• November 6 – Full Moon. The Moon will be directly opposite the Earth from the Sun and will be fully illuminated as seen from Earth. This phase occurs at 22:23 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Beaver Moon because this was the time of year to set the beaver traps before the swamps and rivers froze. It has also been known as the Frosty Moon and the Hunter’s Moon.
• November 17, 18 – Leonids Meteor Shower.Everything you need to know about the Sekhmet (Leonids) Meteor Shower

This shower is unique in that it has a cyclonic peak about every 33 years where hundreds of meteors per hour can be seen. That last of these occurred in 2001. The Leonids is produced by dust grains left behind by comet Tempel-Tuttle, which was discovered in 1865. The shower runs annually from November 6-30. It peaks this year on the night of the 17th and morning of the 18th. The waning crescent moon will not be much of a problem this year. Skies should be dark enough for a good show. • December 6 – Full Moon. The Moon will be directly opposite the Earth from the Sun and will be fully illuminated as seen from Earth. This phase occurs at 12:27 UTC. This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Cold Moon because this is the time of year when the cold winter air settles in and the nights become long and dark. This moon has also been known as the Moon Before Yule and the Full Long Nights Moon.
• December 13, 14 – Geminids Meteor Shower. The Geminids is the king of the meteor showers. It is considered by many to be the best shower in the heavens, producing up to 120 multicolored meteors per hour at its peak. It is produced by debris left behind by an asteroid known as 3200 Phaethon, which was discovered in 1982. The shower runs annually from December 7-17. It peaks this year on the night of the 13th and morning of the 14th. The waning gibbous moon will block out some of the meteors this year, but the Geminids are so bright and numerous that it should still be a good show. Best viewing will be from a dark location after midnight. Meteors will radiate from the constellation Gemini, but can appear anywhere in the sky.

 

 

Djehuty: Aspolia until November 14. Moves into Maat. Then moves into Scorpio on November 29.

HetHeru: Maat until November 18. Then transitions into Ip, then Imhotep on November 24.

Set/Muruga is in Pi Mare (Sidereal Sagittarius) until December 6, when it moves into Hupeneius (Sidereal Capricornus). Inner Warrior that conquers Ego and eradicates unrighteousness, leading to expansion of consciousness and good fortune.

Since each day is associated with a particular planet, it is also associated with a different Deity/Neteru so this is another way to be in alignment with the Divine Natural Order of the Universe! Creating Value in One’s Life

2014 began for me with a burning desire for answers to some questions I have been struggling with for decades. In this blog, I will share and discuss gems that I find on this lifelong quest….

I have been reading this fascinating book called “Healing the Universal Family” by Alan Billups P.T. The author has this to say about creating value on page 66-67:

“There is an order or priority that one must follow to support the development of net worth, profit or value in one’s life. This takes the form of the 4P’s:

1. PROFIT- monetary or spiritual gain and development
2. PROTECTION- creating safety and security for what one considers the most valuable attributes of his or her existence: i.e., the three types of treasures: treasures of the body, treasures of the storehouse  and the treasures of the heart.
3. PRIDE- the establishment of one’s self worth relative to non-egotistical  perspectives
4. PLEASURE- the enjoyment of life.”

“If one is to create a net value from the activities of luis or her life,the priority of her or his daily activities should follow the above order of importance. To profit or benefit  in life is an underlying theme in the life of most people. However, there is no rhyme to the reason. Looking at the activities of daily life, people are motivated by one of the 4P’s in a relatively different order than is outlined above.

Pleasure may well be the primary motive behind the activities of most individuals from morning to evening. Profiting monetarily or spiritually would probably place last on the list of priorities listed, since most people are programmed to be the perfect consumers.”

I really am getting a lot from this powerful excerpt. It is like a formula that reminds me of the ORDER and BALANCE (Maat is in everywhere you are) that must be maintained in all areas of my life, especially in the financial department. I am not talking about compulsive neat freak anal retentive disorder either. I really like how the author clearly defines that there must be balance between the monetary value and the spiritual value or benefit of one’s actions, purchases and all undertakings. In other words, one’s daily life.

Armed with the knowledge that our financial security is connected to our ROOT CHAKRA, we can begin a new chapter of our healing journey, always being mindful of the spiritual and material forces that are ever present. In fact, I would like to add another P to the list:

5. PEACE-with all of this positive energy exchange, let us not forget the ultimate goal: which is enlightenment. If this work, monetary and spiritual gain does not bring peace, or if it disturbs one’s inner peace more often than not, then is it really valuable ? The other side of this is that, if one believes that making more money is going to bring happiness, wow! are you in for major disappointment! LOL!!
In order for ANY of this to be successful, we must strive to seek out the palace of abiding happiness within ourselves; remain seated on our inner throne, and not be moved…..sounds easy enough…..

It’s New Moon taking place in the early Sunday morning hours. Time to celebrate the birth of a new cycle within the heavens, within yourself, within the Earth and all her creatures. The very best use of this cosmic portal of birth would be to be in nature or to visit some place of sanctuary that nurtures self reflection. Both Sun, Moon and Saturn are all aligned in balancing, harmonizing, peacemaking, relational Libra, so choose to be with a partners that bring you a sense of peace. Because this particular New Moon is conjunct Saturn, all themes Saturnian will be up in the coming four weeks. As I already wrote above in the introduction to this week: that means lingering depressions need to be dealt with, making decisions becomes imperative. And I’ll mention three other Saturnian gifts: greater ability to focus your attention on creating what you want (not what you don’t want), making new commitments and discovering the discipline to follow through with your goals. And most importantly, being true to your authentic self. Become the authority you are meant to be in the realms you are designed to work within. Be the leader of your life so all society can benefit from your gifts.  During this four week period, you might get closer to making your dreams come true.  Patience though. Saturn also demands patience as we allow the natural events to unfold in right timing.  I would like to mention this supportive tool.
